Grabner 5 year 15 million dollar deal

Grabner of the New York Islanders was signed today for 5 years at 3 million dollars a year.  This contract seems like it is more in the interest of the team than the players, because Grabner seems to be improving nicely and could be worth much more than that in a year or two.  I guess this contract is also good for Grabner if it was a year that he does not expect to repeat.  What do you guys think?  IS this contract fair or does it favor the teams interests?  Leave your opinions in the comment section below
